Jennifer admits in the July trial that she attended Draughn’s College in Clarksville (45 minutes away from her home in Nashville) prior to moving to Clarksville because that was the plan she and Tim agreed to. The following is from Bernie’s cross-examination of Jennifer:

In the October trial, Jennifer changed her story to make it seem that she was moving to Clarksville regardless and Tim independently chose to buy the house and insisted she rented from him. The following is from Bernie’s cross-examination of Jennifer in October:
So now Jennifer claims she was going to move from Nashville to Clarksville with Tim’s help or not. She does not have an explanation of why she chose to go to the Clarksville school other than she was already planning to move there. How? She testified in July that she had no resources to get her there. From July’s cross-examination of Jennifer, Bernie asks the following after establishing that the Nashville house was a place she wanted to move from immediately:
So she had limited income, wasn’t working, had no rental or credit history, but didn’t need Tim’s help in moving almost an hour from her mother’s ex-boyfriend’s house with no funds. Bernie did not have her illustrate her financial hardship in the October trial as he did in the July trial.
